By accessing or using FormatSense ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

FormatSense is a web-based service that performs AI-powered analysis of uploaded binary files. The Service uses third-party large language models (LLMs) to classify, inspect, and produce structured reports about uploaded files.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for the files you upload. Do not upload files containing sensitive personal data, trade secrets, or classified information unless you accept the associated risks.
  • You must provide your own LLM provider API key. You are responsible for any charges incurred through your API key. FormatSense encrypts your key at rest and discards it after analysis completes or the job is purged.
  • You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including uploading malware with the intent to distribute it.
  • Accounts require admin approval. We reserve the right to deny or revoke access at any time.

4. Data Handling

  • Uploaded files and analysis reports are stored for a limited retention period (up to 30 days) and then automatically purged.
  • You may delete your jobs and associated data at any time through the dashboard.

5. Disclaimers

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • Analysis results are generated by AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for critical decisions.
  • FormatSense is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, API key charges, or reliance on analysis results.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
